The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are actually open and will shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home having a combined gross household earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic cash flow will not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not post any evidence of income.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
